Born in San Francisco, CA on Sept. 13, 1913. Frances Wright grew up and was educated across the bay in Berkeley. She graduated from UC and studied art at the CSFA. In 1936 she married Frank Runnels and settled in nearby Piedmont. She died in Berkeley on May 13, 1971. Her work includes portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
