Frank (Frans) Wilhelm Berger (1831- 1916)
Born in Stockholm, Berger studied in Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, and Paris
before immigrating to America in 1871. Initially settling in New
York, then Philadelphia, he moved to Chicago in 1881, to Minneapolis in
1883, and St. Paul in 1901. Berger taught drawing and sculpture
at Central High School in Minneapolis.
