Biography Gert Jynge
Gert Jynge studied at the National Art Academy from 1929 to 1931 under Axel Revold. There are not many paintings preserved from Jynge, the vast majority is in public collections. Swing was an important person for his generation of artists. Unlike Matisse students as rocking and Sigurd Winge against Germany and the radical German artists, to taken much inspiration from German Expressionism. Rocking kept abreast of directions and "isms" of the continent, and was a centerpiece of the academy, which he held for their fellow students in template technical disciplines and Retna in art. Particularly important inspiration was Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, where one can find much of his powerful use of color and simplification of the subject.
