Born in Louisiana in 1841. By 1858 Amy had moved to northern California and was living in Yuba. By 1880 he was in San Francisco. After the earthquake in 1906, he moved across the bay to Oakland and died there on May 26, 1908. Exh: Calif. State Fair, 1858.
