Born in the Netherlands on March 13, 1874. Ledeboer studied at Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and with marine painter H. W. Mesdag. He came to San Francisco to create the Holland Building for the PPIE. In 1916 he settled in Los Angeles where he worked for 20 years as a scenic artist for the Selznick Studios. He died there on June 25, 1962. Exh: SF Civic Auditorium, 1919.
