Biography Harold Pond
A painter, teacher and designer, Harold Pond lived in East Orange, New Jersey and spent time in New York City where he was a member of the Salmagundi Club and member and exhibitor with the American Artists Professional League.
In the mid 1960s, he taught art in Sloan's Lake, Colorado. Of the impression he made, one student later wrote: "We students always thought that God painted thru Mr. Pond's hands." (Hammond)
He had studied at Lawrence College in Appleton, Wisconsin and at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
