Biography Harry Greaver
Greaver was born October 30, 1929 in Los Angeles, California. His family moved to Kansas when he was four years old. He received both a bachelor's degree and masters of fine arts from the Univ. of Kansas in Lawrence, and studied at the Los Angeles County Art Institute. Taught at the Univ. of Maine from 1955-66 and was Director of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in Michigan from 1966 to 1978. Moved to Cannon Beach, OR in 1978 where he and his wife own a gallery.
