Helen Kohl Trivigno, (b. 12-23-1920 d. 4-1-1985) was an artist known for her efforts to revive the ancient art of enamel painting on copper. She was an instructor and chairman, of the art department at Metairie Park Country Day School in Metairie, LA, a suburb of New Orleans, from 1947 to 1974.
Her paintings have been shown in group exhibits in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Manila in the Philippines. Her exhibits at American museums and galleries including the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York; the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, N.Y.; the Santa Barbara (Calif.) Art Museum; the Brooks Memorial Art Gallery in Memphis, Term.; and the St. Paul Art Center in Minnesota.
