Biography   Hudson (Brisbine) Roysher

Born in Cleveland, OH on Nov. 21, 1911. Roysher studied at the Cleveland School of Art and Western Reserve University. He earned an M.B.A. degree at USC and then taught industrial design at USC (1939-42), Chouinard Art Institute (1945-50), and at UCLA. He was a contributor to Craft Horizon, American Artist, Design, and other national magazines. Roysher died in La Jolla, CA on June 23, 1998. Member: Cleveland AA; Calif. Art Club; American Society of Industrial Designers. Exh: Cleveland Museum, 1933-46 (prizes); LACMA, 1941 (solo); St Paul Gallery, 1942 (solo); Pasadena Society of Artists, 1949; Calif.
