Biography   Ignatius Affanni

Ignatius Affanni studied at the Academy of Parma with Garlazzi masters, and Callegari Scaramuzza: honorary member of the Accademia di Napoli, he participated in several exhibitions preferring the historical and religious themes and allegorical but not disdaining the figure and the landscape.

He received an award in Rome and Parma with 'Raffaello Ferrante picture presented by Pope Julius II'. In the municipality of Fidenza there Prayer for the living and the dead' while in the Cathedral of Parma, is exposed to the work Scenes from the life of St. Bernard, while in the Galleria d'Arte Antica in Fidenza are 'Last basis of the note' , 'the daughter of Jephthah', 'the expulsion of the Medici from Florence' and   ...  Displaying 750 of 1142 characters.
