Jacob (Jack) N. Kramer (American, 1923-1983)
"As a well-known artist and author, and a beloved teacher, Jack Kramer will be remembered fondly by the Boston University Community and his many friends.
Professor Kramer was an active painter and accomplished draftsman and his work has been exhibited in many group shows locally and nationally. He held one-man shows at the Shore Gallery, the Boris Mirski Gallery, and the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Insitutute. In 1981, he was awarded the T.B. Clarke Prize for painting at the National Academy of Design in New York. The Copley Society exhibited a collection of his work in 1982 when he was chosen to be a Copley Master.
