Pennsylvania native Jean Stull earned a BS degree from Edinboro State College. She also attended Penn State University, Palomar College and Miracosta College in Southern California.

Stull taught art at LeBoeuf High School in Waterford, Pennsylvania while continuing her career in watercolor painting.
