Biography   Jeffrey Horn


Jeffrey C. Horn was born in Hay Springs, Nebraska in 1947. He earned his Masters degree from California State University in 1979. Up until recently he was a Professor of drawing and painting at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California.

As a draftsman Horn became known for the portrait series of the "Homeless", which became a feature article for "American Artist Magazine". He won 1st Place awards from both the Laguna Beach Museum in 1980, and "Illustration West" in 1985. In 2000 he received the top honor for the quick draw competition at the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association annual event. Also in 2000, he was awarded a prize for "Best Work On Canvas" at the Carmel Art Festival.   ...  Displaying 750 of 1590 characters.
