John Kissick

John Kissick was born in Montreal in 1962.  He lives and works in Southern Ontario.  John Kissick creates abstract paintings that feature a hybrid pictorial space which balances art-historical allusions with pop-culture references.  A fine and subtle colourist, Kissick creates energetic surfaces rife with associative resonance.
