John Theodore Johnson was active/lived in Minnesota, California, Illinois, Oregon / France.  John Johnson is known for figure, landscape, mural, sculptor.

Biography   John Johnson

Born in Oregon, Illinois on Nov. 7, 1902, Johnson studied at the AIC and with Andre Lhote in Paris.  He taught at the Minneapolis School of Art from 1938-45 and then moved to California to teach at San  Jose State College.  He died there on Nov. 2, 1963.
