Born in Bath, England on Oct. 30, 1914. Scott studied at the Heatherly School in London, Heymann School in Munich, Academie di Bella Arti in Florence, Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, and with Armin Hansen in Carmel. He settled in Pasadena shortly after his marriage in 1938 to Virginia Steele whose collection of American art is held at the Huntington Art Gallery in San Marino, CA. In 1964 he moved to Taos, NM where he remained until his death on Jan. 16, 1995. Member: Laguna Beach AA; Taos AA; Calif. WC Society (pres. 1960); American WC Society (pres. 1962).
