Biography Joseph Barnard Davis
Joseph Barnard Davis studied art at the Westminster School of Art in the evenings after finishing his day job in a bank. Eventually he was able to become a full-time illustrator for magazines such as The Ladies' Pictorial and Black and White.
Later in life he gave up graphic work and devoted himself to oil and watercolour work exhibiting at the Royal Academy.
