Easel and mural painter and one of Nebraska’s most distinguished art educators, Kady Faulkner was Instructor and then Associate Professor of Art at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln from 1930 to 1950. Her reputation was for taskmaster excellence, embrasive outreach to co-workers, much sharing of her artistic and social energy, great sense of humor, and fierce independence, which stirred descriptions such as 'eccentric' and ‘kind of wild.’
