Biography   Kasimir (Kovahlsky) Korybut

Born in Russia on April 25, 1878. Korybut (né Korybutkovahlsk) studied at Académies Moderne and Grand Chaumière in Paris. By the 1930s he had settled in Los Angeles where he painted and authored the play, "Who's Who." He died there on July 3, 1951. Member: Painters & Sculptors of LA; Calif. Art Club. Exh: Oakland Art Gallery, 1939; Calif. Art Club, 1940; Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1947. In: East End Union, Cambridge, MA; Symphony Hall, Boston (curtain).
