Kate Flournoy Edwards, a portrait painter, was born July 29, 1877 in Marshallville, Georgia, and died. May 23, 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Joseph Asbury Edwards and Emma Jane Miller.
Miss Edwards began painting at the age of 8. After attending school in Marshallville, she attended Price's College For Women in Nashville, Tennessee.
