Katherine Langdon Corson (1869-1925)

Born in England, Langdon moved to the United States with her family, where she was a pupil of  Emil Carlsen, H. Bolton Jones and F.C. Jones.  She specialized in landscape painting and was a member of the National Association of Women Artists, the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors, and the Plastic Club, Philadelphia.

She had exhibitions at the Art Institute of Chicago, the National Academy of Design in New York, the National Association of Women Artists and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

She was married to the writer Walter H. Corson.
