Lawrence McKinin (1917-1982)
Born August 24, 1917 in Yukon, Pennsylvania, he died June, 1982.
Studied at Wayne State University with a B.S. in 1939. Society of Arts and Crafts, Detroit, Michigan with John Carroll 1939-1940. University of Wisconsin in the summer of 1941. Cranbrook Academy of Art with Zolton Sepeshy, 1946-1948. Masters of Fine Art in 1948. Institute of Design in Chicago, summer 1949, Handy and Harman Silversmithing Workshop, School of American Craftsmen, Rochester, NY, summer 1950.
Member of the Mid-American Colony Art Association.
