Born in Iowa on Oct. 27, 1865. Price studied art in Paris at Academie Colarossi and with Mme. Laforge, Richard Miller, and Collin. While studying in Paris she met Mary Harland. Upon completion of their studies, the two artists moved to Los Angeles and opened a studio in the Blanchard Bldg in 1906. Price taught art in the Santa Monica public schools until the early 1930s.
