Ludwig Fahrenkrog was born in 1867 in Rendsburg, Germany.
Ludwig Fahrenkrog was a German painter and poet and was a member of the Volkish movement, as well as of the neo-pagan Germanic religious community. He studied from 1887 at the Academy of Arts in Berlin, where he was a student of Waldemar Friedrich, Hugo Vogel and master student of Anton von Werner.
He was known for his sacral art, especially the images of Jesus.
He passed away in Biberach, Germany in 1952.
