Mabel Beatrice Smith Clark was born in Philadelphia, PA on Jan. 18, 1882. Clark studied at Philadelphia School of Design, ASL in NYC under Bridgman, and the American School of Miniature Painters. In 1921 she settled in southern California and was active until her death in Hollywood on May 4, 1957.
