Larned, Marguerite Younglove (1878- 1966)
Wife of William T. (Trowbridge or Tillman) Larned, she was an American artist known for her landscapes and an oil painting called “the Homestead.” Her father was a noted American author and playwright.
In 1912 she was an illustrator for Collier’s National Weekly. She exhibited with the American Water Color Society, New York, in 1922, and that same year was Recording Secretary for the Pen and Brush, Manhattan, New York. In 1925, she exhibited with the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and from 1935 to 1938, with the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors.
