Amy Florence Dalrymple 1865-1932
Born in Boston, Dalrymple attended the Massachusetts Normal Art School before trips to Italy after 1885 where she perfected a realistic and academic style of landscape painting in watercolor.
Back in Boston after 1890 and painting from her studio called the Blue Ship near her home at 27 Wharf Street, she was a member of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts and
the Copley Society.
Signed and dated works from Florida see her working in the State several seasons from 1900 to the mid 1920s. She died in Boston in 1932.
