Majorie Conant was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1885.
Marjorie Conant Bush-Brown studied at the Museum of Fine Arts School under Frank Benson, Edward Tarbell and Philip Haas. She later studied in Paris under Lucien Simon and Charles Cottet.
She married Harold Bush-Brown in 1924 and moved to Atlanta, where he served as Head of the School of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1925 until his retirement in 1957.
A noted portrait painter, Marjorie exhibited at public galleries including those in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
