Martha Bradshaw Bintliff was active/lived in California, Minnesota, Wisconsin.  Martha Bintliff is known for landscape, seascape, and portrait painter.

Biography   Martha Bradshaw Bintliff

Active in Superior, Wisconsin where she was born as well as New Rochelle, New York; San Diego and La Jolla, California; and Tucson, Arizona, Martha Bintliff was a painter of landscapes, seascapes, and portraits in oil, watercolor, and pastel.  In Arizona, she painted desert scenes.

She studied at the Cincinnati Academy of Design and in Rome for four years with Giuseppe Ferrari.  Returning to the U.S., she lived in New York City and in 1916, moved to San Diego, California where she was active through 1941 and had a studio in her home.

In 1918, she became a co-founder of the La Jolla Art Association.  She was also a member of the National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors and the New York   ...  Displaying 750 of 1817 characters.
