Biography Mary Judge
Mary Judge was born in Easton, Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey. Interested in art as a young person, she first attended Saturday Classes at Moore College of Art as a high-school student. She won a scholarship there and graduated with a BFA in Painting.
During this time she made her first trip to Italy studying at Temple University and also received a scholarship to attend Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, studying under John Moore and Janet Fish. She went on to receive her MFA at Tyler School of Art, again returning to Rome for a year of study, under the tutelage of painter Stephen Green and printmaker John Dowell.
