Maud Elizabeth Love was active/lived in California, Iowa.  Maud Love is known for painting.

Biography   Maud Love

Born in Iowa on Dec. 1, 1865. Love appears to have come to California during the excitement of the PPIE. By 1916 she was head of the art department at Fresno State Normal School. By 1934 she had settled in Berkeley where she taught in the public schools for many years. She maintained a studio in her home at 2724 Channing Way. A spinster, she died in a fire there on March 13, 1949. Member: SF Women Artists. Exh: League of American Pen Women, De Young Museum, 1928; Oakland Art Gallery, 1932.
