Born in Portland, OR on Aug. 1, 1876. Kerns was educated at University of Oregon and later taught art there during 1931-47. During summers in the 1930s she was active in San Francisco. She died in Eugene, OR on Oct. 19, 1965. Member: Calif. WC Society; Oregon Society of Artists; AAPL.
