In 1924 Miklos Suba immigrated to the United States from Hungary and settled at 142 Montague Street in Brooklyn with his wife and daughter.
Prior to 1924 Suba had studied architecture at the Royal Technical University of Budapest and painting at the Vienna Academy in Austria. It is likely that Suba's architectural training predisposed him to the Precisionist aesthetic.
Suba's career thrived in the United States. Between 1926 and 1944 his work was shown in twenty-one exhibitions in a variety of venues : The Anderson Galleries,
