Born in Panama on Oct. 18, 1890. Mildred Levy settled in San Francisco with her family in 1894. She graduated from the San Francisco Institute of Art in 1909 and became active in the local art scene. In 1916 she married structural engineer Hyman Rosenthal. Her final years were spent across the Golden Gate in Mill Valley where she died on Feb. 9, 1976.
