Biography Nicos (Nicolas) Kalogeropoulos
Born in Sykia Corinth in 1889 and died in Athens in 1957. He studied theology in Athens and Munich while studying art history and practitioner with painting. Follow the painting tradition of Vas. Hadji and Konst. Volanaki the seascape, enriching the relevant Greek themes with his own sensibility, with freer way, the climate of impressionism, simplifying colors. He wrote several studies on Byzantine art and served in management positions in the Byzantine Museum, the National Gallery and the Ministry of Education.
