He was born in Chicago and graduated from the University of
Illinois, and studied painting at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Among those who sat for him were President Franklin D. Roosevelt;
Benjamin F. Fairless, president of United States Steel, and Oscar of
the Waldorf, the well-known manager of the Waldorf-Astoria. His
work is in many museums, including the Atlanta Museum of Fine Arts.
Mr. Trebilcock was a member of the New York Society of Painters, the
Century Association and the Chelsea Arts Club in London.
Surviving are his wife, the former Amaylia Castaldo; a son, William; a
daughter, Adrienne T. Lynch, and four grandchildren.
