Pauline Soltau, born Suhrlandt (* June 30 1833 in Ludwigslust - April 13 1902 in Schwerin ) was a German violinist and painter.
She came from a family of artists and from Mecklenburg and was the daughter of the court painter Rudolph Suhrlandt and his wife, the lithographer Wilhelmine Skoglund (1803-1863). The painter Carl Suhrlandt (1828-1919) was her brother.
She received early violin lessons and undertook concert tours with her father in Europe. With her father, she also received her first lessons in painting. Later she went to Paris to when Édouard Dubufe study.
1858 she married the economist and politician Friedrich Soltau in Schwerin, but continued working as a portrait painter.
