The following is from the artist, March 2004.

Born: 1957, Canton, SD.

She is a fourth-generation South Dakotan, her great grandparents arriving in SD in the 1880s coming from Holland on her mothers side, and Denmark, Scotland, and Germany on her dad's side.

Living and working in the Black Hills of SD as a sculptor, painter and illustrator.

Most noted Commission: Peggy has created the world's largest contemporary (1950 to present) bronze assembly of all original work, no duplication from molds. It depicts fourteen bison and three mounted Lakota warriors at 125% life-scale for the Tatanka - Story of the Bison museum at Deadwood, SD.
