leather pastedown label to the front cover. Complete set of 52 tinted
lithographs by the Chicago Lithographing Company in 13 booklets of four
lithographs each. Eight of the booklets are in the original printed
lithographic wraps and five have been replaced. Lacking 4 text pages.
Jevne and Peter M. Almini, partnered with three lithographers, Louis
Kurtz, Otto Knirsch and Edward Carqueville, produced this rare set,
which has been called "the best source for the physical appearance
