Phillip Renaud (1934-2011)

A visual artist and teacher in Chicago, Illinois, Renaud was born in Edmonton, Canada but left for Chicago as a teenager.  He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and then moved to Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Professional Arts from the Art Center College of Design.

Returning to Chicago, he worked as a freelance illustrator and painter for clients, including Playboy magazine.  He taught at the Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts, the Illinois Institute of Art, the Academy of Fine Arts and the Old Town Triangle Association, all in Chicago.

He exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the John Hancock Center and the Milwaukee Art Museum.    ...  Displaying 750 of 1121 characters.
