Biography Ralph Dunkelberger
Ralph Dunkelberger was born in Reading, Pa. in 1894. He studied at the Pennsylvania School of Industrial art with Christopher Shearer and Thorton Oakley.
He was an illustrator for Harper's Weekly's serial Ben Hur by Lewis Wallace. He also did full-size wall murals. Primarily known for his landscapes and illustrations, Dunkelberger also produced prints of several of his drawings. He died in 1965.
