Ralph H Hillbom 1894-1977
Ralph Hillbom was known as a Woodstock NY artist early in his career and also
painted on Monhegan Island off the Maine coast along with other Woodstock
artists such as Walter Koeniger. He settled permanently in Florida in the mid-1920s, residing in St.Augustine and then in nearby Largo.
Between the 1930s and the early 1950s the historic city of St. Augustine had a thriving cultural community which attracted hundreds of American artists.
