Born in Tyler, TX on July 10, 1901. Jester was educated at Yale and the American Academy at Fontainebleau. By 1931 he had settled in Hollywood where he worked as an art director and costume designer for Cecil B. DeMille and Paramount Pictures. He died in Los Angeles on Sept. 25, 1991.
