Born in Mechelen on 1 December 1904 and died on 30 November 1995 in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, is a Belgian sculptor.
Self-taught animal sculptor, he is considered a sculptor of "movement and feelings".
His works are found in several Belgian museums: in Ixelles (Bear playing), in Saint-Gilles (Tigre seis grognant), in Mechelen (Autruche des îles Somalis), in Liège (Foal of fifteen days licking), in Tervuren park (Lying down).
Many foreign museums also keep works by the artist: Paris, Lisbon, Oslo, Buenos Aires, Riga, Tallinn, Cairo, Mexico.
