A painter and sculptor, Richard Miller was born in Windsor, Ontario, and is a descendant of Scotland’s Earl of Lennox. His professional career began directly after his formal education.
In 1957 he left Canada for the United States. With a studio in Detroit and a flat in New York, he soon made a reputation across the country as colorist and romantic realist.
