Biography Robert Rogers
Robert Bruce Rogers was born in Girard, Kansas on April 13, 1907. He studied with George Bridgman, Frank DuMond, Amedee Ozenfant and Hans Hofmann. He produced animated films: Toccata Manhatta, Round Trip in Modern Art (1948), Beethoven Fantasy (1949), and Motion Picture III Rhapsody (1950-51).
He was Director of Garret Gallery and Art Classes in New York to 1950 and then moved to Los Angeles, CA to write and produce films.
He died in November of 1981 in Aspendell, California.
