Biography Robert Bryant Trotter
A painter, designer, illustrator and teacher, Robert Bryant Trotter was contributing illustrator to Blue Jackets Manual. He served as Director of the Art Department at the College of
Steubenville, Ohio from 1952-54. Then for the next year, he was
Director of the Studio School in Steubenville, 1954-55.
In 1955, he became Head of the Visual Presentation Division of the U.S. Naval Aviation Safety Center in Norfolk, Virginia.
His training was at the Maryland Institute of Fine Arts with Howard
Frech and Jacques Maroger and at the Art Students League with Julian
Levi and John Carroll.
