Biography   Robert Overman Hodgell


Robert Overman Hodgell was born in Mankato, Kansas on July 14, 1922. A painter, etcher, engraver, and illustrator and sculptor,  Hodgell studied at the University of Wisconsin where he earned his BS and MS degrees.  He also studied at Dartmouth College, and the State University of Iowa.

Hodgell was a member of the Society of American Graphic Artists, Art Association Museum, National Serigraphic Society, and Madison Art Association.  His works are held in the Joslyn Art Museum, at Dartmouth College, Wisconsin Union, Topeka Art Guild, Kansas State Teachers College and Kansas State College.

He exhibited his works at the Mississippi Art Association, Albany Print Club, Society of American Graphic Artists, Washington   ...  Displaying 750 of 3097 characters.
