Born in Poland on Sept. 12, 1886. Pielke was a resident of San Francisco by the early 1920s and often made sketching trips to Carmel. His work includes landscapes, figure studies and portraits. He died in Crescent City, CA on Oct. 7, 1957. Exh: City of Paris (SF), 1924; Gump's (SF), 1939.
