Roseline Delisle also gained recognition through her creation of
earthenware sculptures that often bare a subtle resemblance to the
Delisle was born in Quebec, Canada in 1952. She attended the
Institute of the Applied Arts in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from 1969
until 1973, and later studied as an apprentice in the studio of Enid
LeGros. She moved to the United States in 1978, living in Venice,
California where she began working in a ceramic studio. During
the early 1980s, she spent a year at the Santa Monica City College in
California. The scale of her artwork increased significantly
after 1985, when she was commissioned
